Italian Riviera
Spanning from the French border to Tuscany, the Italian Riviera is beautiful stretch of coastline, with striking beaches, crystal-clear waters, captivating villages and great food. One of the most visited areas on the Italian Riviera is the Cinque Terre, which is a generally thought of five fishing villages.The villages are connected by hiking trails that present beautiful views of the coastline and memorizing views of the Mediterranean Sea. At this time during our trip kit provided us a chance to slow down and enjoy the local life.





A good amount of energy of the village was focused around a large playground. The friendliness of everyone is very welcoming. Off to the corner of the playground I caught a game of Bocce. The sights and sounds of them playing an age-old game of bocce was enchanting. Everywhere I went I could feel the Italian culture.
Bocce is not merely a game, but rather a testament to the spirit of community and tradition that has been a defining feature of Italian culture for generations. Real serenity comes over you being in such a peaceful neighborhood where everyone comes to meet. The entire relaxed feeling of being part of your community shines though in the society as a whole. They are all family.

The game is played on a rectangular court comprised of gravel, with large heavy balls that are thrown and rolled with the intent of landing as close as feasible to the smaller target ball, referred to as the pallino. As the game unfolds, you can observe the skill these seasoned players exhibit. Their level of dexterity and finesse comes from years of experience. The players take their time, methodically scrutinizing their shots before executing them with a graceful flick of the wrist.It is a real friendly competition, but ultimately, it is the companionship that seems to matters most of energy of the village was focused around a large playground.
